i love dead trees just as much as alive trees: no favouritism (to trees) here.
it has continued to rain all day.
only it's slightly warmer and slightly less wet than yesterday.
sold our old victorian fireplace from the perou factory.
(i left almost nothing)
for £64.
reg sold it to us cheap (for £350).
ali's been down attending to the herbacious borders round the pool.
had a big bonfire.
went on a long bike ride with maximum cycling and z sitting on the a chair behind me.
almost made it to our neighbouring village (2 miles).
the apple and plum trees are in blossom.
can't wait till the summer when i can walk out of my office and pick some fresh fruit to eat.
and i can't wait for the pool to reopen too...
come on the summer!
i want hamish brown's car.
