this is a 'funny' business.
being a photographer is a very perculiar way to live a life.
the artist bit of being a commercial artist is prone to abuse:
it's hard to keep the faith when people that should know better (people who are suposed to be on your side) kick you down.
but i've got to tell you, the more people try to put me down, the more angry i get and the harder i come out fighting.
thankyou: it's FUEL.
i will ALWAYS have the last laugh.
i'm not even competing: by being born, i won.
in other news, today tomoland came down farm with my ex (assistant) melinda to photograph derek meins.
which was a little odd as i used to shoot bands FOR tomoland when he was at the NME and now he was shooting a singer at my farm.
ur...
we all ended the day with some therapeutic shooting of my 12 bore, obliterating clays accross the back field.
very noisy.
very calming.
got a LOT going on over the next few weeks.
good stuff though.
and i refuse to be knocked off my roll.
