was willing our satnav to say 'FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD' just once, every time the voice said 'follow the road ahead for...7...miles'

i would have built this into the program if i'd been left in charge of manufacturing it.

a once a year glitch: blink and you'll have missed it.

was i was reading somewhere recently about forward thinking design of 'automatons with deliberate flaws', to make them more acceptable to humans?

but we did go for a bracing walk in the forest apres lunch, in knee deep snow: twas quite stunning
