remember day
the day did not start well, and continued the same.
as we were late checking in at zurich airport, our taxi driver came running in with the canon 5dii i had left on the back seat of his van.
unfortunately, he didn't see my iPhone which i had also left there, and i didn't realise it was lost till i was trying to find it to turn off for the flight.
landed at shitty airport in time for the observed annually, 11th november, 2 minute silence.
walking out of of the customs hall into a foyer full of stationary, silent people felt like we'd arrived into a flash-mob of some kind.
only 5 of our 6 cases of luggage arrived in the uk.
one was more lost in transit than my iPhone.
the cab driver took the scenic route back to the bunker.
i cycled in the rain to the post office to collect paperwork from the DVLA telling me i'd sent them the wrong form AGAIN.
the DVLA are my new worst enemy.
the shitty weather is making me want to hibernate.
then i catch more of the news about the tornado in the philippines that has left 10,000 people dead and SO many people devastated and i have a reality check.
