1600 numbered tennis balls were released at the top of fore street.

(presumably the sony bravia ad was based on this?)

the first ball down, won it's backer £100.

the next 5 won runners up prizes

we had 40 balls in the race.

none made it into the points.

i've walked down and up a steep hill many times today.

in conversation at lunch today, we were hearing about how some adult asshole had been picking on our sons for entangling their crab lines with his daughters during the (fun) crab fishing off the quay yesterday.

'he was just a w.a.n.k.e.r' spelled out granny ali

'the boys can spell' i said

'it's ok if you say it quickly enough' said ali

'what's wank?' said z

it's bank holiday and i am CHILLIN

we missed the sand castle and sand sculpture competition

we wouldn't have been able to compete with some of the fine sandy works there.

have LOVED the brass band playing on the quayside ALL day.
