wasting police time
not that they turned up the other day...

but this morning the one man sticking his lens in our hedge turned into five men with cameras and tripods blocking our lane.

turns out (the now highly embarrassed) mrs.perou called the police on a keen ornithologist who had noticed a super-rare damselfly (like a dragonfly but smaller).

and his spotter mates were all out in force this morning.
(one was kind enough to point out this fella).

hahahahaaaaaa...oops.
so glad this time, the police had better things to do.
