lord does not knows

lord does not knows

another VERY strange day.

tweeting in a traffic jam heading into the b/wall tunnel someone called daniel tweeted asking if i was passing hackney and said he could have done with a lift.

so after saying where from/to? and realising i was early, and literally JUST around the corner from him in hackney wick, i tweeted back saying 'be at the station in 5 minutes'.

carpool perou.
dropped him off in euston after a pleasant conversation about DST and photography, riots and the state of the job market for kids.

i was in london because lord rob walters asked me onto his new chatshow.

i was not on form, at all and came away hating myself for being soo dull.

highlight of the morning was when i said to lord rob, 'i should just do an andy warhol and answer "ur, yes" or "ur, no" to every question you ask me.

lord rob looked puzzled.

'you DO know who andy warhol is don't you rob?' i asked

'urm, yes...hold on' he said looking like he was trawling through some mental folders.

after a while i asked, 'are you there yet, rob?'

'yeah: wasn't he the guy that was in the army...oh no: that was andy mc nabb'

he make me laugh so much.
unfortunately the cameras were not rolling at this time.

the cameras were also not rolling for lord rob's story about how he threw his cast iron bath out his bathroom window last night.

he's a very strong man...with huge tits, and a penchant for new underwear

panic on the streets of london

panic on the streets of london

after a hideous interview with lord rob, met clara for lunch in west london.

mrs.perou called to say she was calling the police at the farm re: some guy who's been kicking about the outside perimeter for the last couple of days with a long lens camera.
wish i'd been there to deal with him personally.
no idea who he is still.

struggled home dodging roadblocks to an emergency services siren soundtrack.

many companies and businesses shutting up shop early in anticipation of more trouble on the streets tonight.

on the way home, in conversation with ms de carle we discussed how picking up young men i've met on twitter and driving them anywhere might not be such a cool idea...hadn't even considered this: sad world we live in.
