24hrs with the king of snake

left bunker too early, in the dark at 5am

drove to heathrow and met my friend karl

flew to hamburg; picked up a jazzy renault clio and drove to denmark

stopped in schleswig for a hearty german lunch: duck, chicken, pork in bacon, brussel spouts, red cabbage, mushrooms and croquettes.

(we did not eat at the 'king of steak)

had a mooch about the cathedral before driving on to søederborg

saw efterklang play their last gig as efterklang as they have been (before they evolve to something else) in the koncertsal.

it was a very special concert (which was super tricky to photograph)

the show ended with an almost acoustic performance on a stage in the lobby where the band were joined by their parents for a final song.

stopped at the after-party briefly, for a coca-cola and persuaded the manager of the bar to let me buy a slice of chocolate brownie and ice cream, which i ate with some vampire liquorice hairdo for dinner.
