i started the day with a fast blast down kamikaze: a red run with a mental steep start.

i had to force myself over the edge.

this is the view from half way down looking back up.

you probably can't see a couple of tiny specs right at the VERY top which are people just about to start this run.

the three specs you can see are about a quarter of the run down.

it's frustrating that in 2D you don't get the sense of scale and height here.

continued on my own till lunchtime when i met up with mrs.perou and sons again.

my calf muscles are twice the size they usually are and ache like they never have done.
