stanstead is my least favourite london airport: i feel like a cow when i am there.

i went up this tower to the revolving restaurant for dinner with frances years ago

not long after the berlin wall had come down (?).

it was still staffed by heavy-set eastern european women serving boiled potatoes and simple fayre.

now it's booked up way in advance, possibly doesn't spin and serves expensive fancy foodes.
