storm damage

slept like a baby through the storm.

z woke up this morning and sighed, 'i think today will be the longest day of the year'

how prophetic

woke up to find sick dog ludwig had shat himself ALL over the dining room floor.

realised we've lost some kent peg tiles off the roof.

then max (keogh) called to say there was no longer a roof on the stables we built together 4 years ago.

we also lost 5 large old trees.

i was planning on doing NOTHING for christmas.

now it looks like i'll be helping rebuild the stables and chainsawing fallen trees all week.

worst christmas eve EVA

ludwig is on special measures: may be going to an emergency vet to go on a drip for christmas: he can't stop shitting /puking.

ho ho ho happy christmas

could have been (much) worse:

no-one here is injured.

property damage is annoying but fixable.
