public display of inflection
a long, strange day at focus on imaging 2012 at the NEC birmingham.
pleased that a lot of people are getting to see the (beautiful HP printed) 'admit i exist', homelessness and the arts, O2 think big prints.
it's a trade show.
but it's not all about buying STUFF.
in to focus
got photographed, a lot.
usually from a distance by people wielding long lenses.
several photos were taken of the back of my head.
but quite a lot of people did come up to say hello and it was a pleasure to meet everyone who did.
made friends with some people from lighting/ printing/ camera companies.
art meets commerce.
attended a few seminars.
learned some smart things photoshop can do that i didn't know already (thankyou adobe demonstrator)
also learned that i should never use a lightmeter (?)
and that there are only 7 styles of lighting...period (?)

and loop
amazing that i have been able to get this far without knowing these fundamentals.
props to the lovely 'sarah louise' for advanced modelling as someone with a bump on her nose.
