woke up to a cloudy day in hell-A
started the morning with a swim in a steaming, salt water pool.
then brunch at hugos.
i'm on a kind of diet: i'm trying to drink less cider/ eat less bars of chocolate a day / less packets of biscuits and less packets of sweets.
at hugos i had a protein scramble, NO extra order of chicken sausages, 2x fruit juices and a side of fruit salad instead of fries or rice.

maria came up with an ingenious plan to stop me from getting sunburnt on our 'thelma and louise' drive north up the 405/5 to the oaktree shooting range.
and yes, i do know just how ridiculous i look....and as usual i don't care.

as bad as gaddafi was, his all woman security service was spot on.

ate an apple for a late lunch.
returned south to find our shoot delayed so decided to go to venice beach.
ms.monfort plana has not been to LA before and is keen to see as much tourist nonsense as possible.
i've been seeing some new cars out here i've NEVER seen or heard of before.
so want to bring one back with me: is it fair we have to pay 3x the cost of petrol here?

returned to hotel, cursing the construction workers who closed sunset bridge 100m from our hotel, forcing us to make a 1hr detour.
