and also i...

spent the morning waiting for my associates to resurface.
i finished at 1am this morning: most of the others got in around 6am.

had breakfast alone in the castle: sausages filled with melted cheese.
known locally as 'puss sausages'
strangely good

met up with the rest of our party and went for a walk down to the lake, in wet falling snow which was beautiful, bracing and refreshing.

roast pork, white dumplings and (not on this plate but in my tummy) pickled cabbage with bacon bits.
