Perous Secret Diary - Keep Out: September 24, 2008

not the best of days...

...but not the worst either.

drove the slow wrangler round the m25 and up the a3 to andy's to once more be reunited with the perou-mobile.

a meeting in langham place with the bbc.

another back west at television center...only it's IMPOSSIBLE to park ANYWHERE near it.
drove round for half an hour getting progressively upset and stressed out: twice getting pushed into the shepherds bush one way system due to some giant shopping centre being built and consuming white city/shepherds bush whole.
canceled the meeting which was apparently bad...but i couldn't leave the car on double yellow lines.
will return on public transport.

the next meeting was with someone who wasn't there to be met.
which is double annoying.

on the way to my last meeeting of the day (with roy) a dumbass in a car drove into the back of the perou-mobile.
i got out.
the dumbass said 'you braked suddenly'
'yes...', i said '...so did the car in front of me but i didn't crash into him did i?'
the perou mobile doesn't have a single sign of impact.
his astra was leaking radiator juice and had an appropriate deep dent where he drove into the bit on the perou-mobile where a tow bar would connect, if i had one.
'dumbass', i said and got back in my car driving away.

good to catch up with roy and discuss much including the relaunch of the SHOP here (tbc) which will be expanded and fantastic.
probably not in time for good christmas presents, but maybe?
also discussed being firm but fair parents and how people probably assume that we aren't...but we are.

back to farm to pay for flights and fax back contracts to NY.

the big news is...i can't tell you what the big news is because i've signed a non disclosure agreement.
after i've done what i'm doing i CAN state what i've done BUT i can't contractually elaborate on that.

blah blah blah.
i'll be in NY from weds to the end of october doing some TV show.

diary posts in october might become a little vague and random.
anyway.
good times ahoy...i'll be back in time to kill our pigs.
