zeddy monster on the john deere monster
we can do the front lawns, the orchard, one of the back lawns and a strip along two sides of the back field in an hour and a half.
i got about 3 acres of grass to cut.
it used to take 10 hours (a week) now i can do it in 3.
i love my john deere.
we got a lawn like green velvet...but for the mole holes all over it...maybe it's a lawn like a moth eaten green jumper then.
i don't actually let z drive this three wheeler yet.
as it's steering wheel is the one you sit over: it's got a very sharp turning circle and you need long legs to work the forwards and backwards pedals.
but both sons drive the mini tractors around the farm.
z just steers.
maximum can start the tractor, drive it around...but can't stop, yet.
spent most of the rest of the day retouching.
and wishing i was outside in the sunshine.
arnaud was over till 11pm setting up new drives to write to and then new drives to backup the new drives.
boring.
