boys go wild
continued the clearing of the wood shed: further treasures have been discovered.
mum-mum and dad-dad (who stayed last night) helped too.
still have a giant, broken old cement-mixer, several wooden gates, a plough and drums of toxic waste (and MUCH more ) to go.
my oldest (he’s 101) friend geoff, and rosie came for the day with their chil’en.
they have three sons: oliver (my godson), thomas and danny.
it was a ‘boys go wild’ day at the farm.
had a huge bonfire,
went for a paddle upstream on ‘flash’ the mirror dinghy (and saw a 4lb(?) goldfish.
had some tractor rides.
had a bbq
drank lots of cider (well, me and geoff did anyway)
easy, happy day.
could have done with a little more sunshine though.
lit a fire in the evening and burnt the old, white posts that used to be in front of the farm, to encourage people not to drive over the grass.
in retrospect, i think they were probably painted in some kind of lead based gloss because as they burnt, they stank out the sitting room with a noxious smoke which made me feel sick and ill.
i got every piano sonata beethoven has done today.
tomorrow I will play these loudly in my garden.
i wonder if my neighbour will complain quite as much as when i was playing NIN.
test.
