deliverance

had the best ever homemade fruit juice this morning: 2 nectarines, a bunch of red grapes and 3 apples.

after z's guitar lesson, had lunch in worth, at the blue pigeon

followed by pudding at the P.Y.O strawberry fields round the corner.

came back with 3 big punnets and probably ate another 3 while we were there.

my first time in a P.Y.O field for maybe 25yrs and the sons' first time ever.

didn't take a pot of sugar with us like we used to when i went with my mum and dad.

stopped by the french festival in sandwich, dodging thunder storms

spat out some 'prawnies in garlic' which looked like giant prawns in garlic but were in fact disgusting reconstituted prawn-matter, in prawn shapes, in garlic.

and then went to a small 'farmstead' to get some runners.

'that's a big car'

'yes'

'its got big wheels'

'yes it has… z get back in the car'
