more peachicks

a hot sunny summer's day at farm.

woke to three peachicks hatched out their shells: two remain unhatched and abandoned by 'diana princess of tails'.

only one chick survived the first batch this year and none hatched from the second.

continued to clean up the pool and balance the chemistry, hoping this sunshine will stick around a while.

walked dogs.

took sons to swimming lessons.

wasted an hour filling out the accident report from 5/4/13 when the polish lady kindly reversed into the stationary truck, which is STILL ongoing as she's now saying i drove into her (even though i have a witness and she had her reversing lights AND my horn was on)

mr.philpott came to fence the orchard in preperation of sheep's arrival.

have to spray for buttercups first as they disagree with sheep who are too dumb not to eat them.

watched tennis semi-finals.

quite a delightful day.

i used to have a lot of these here, but this is first day like this since the bunker's been running.

despite the bliss of being at home in the sun, WAS sad to miss the action at the bunker today: chris, maria, tawfiq, diana and james all there working in my absence.
